Insulation Resistance
Under normal ambient temperature and humidity, the insulation resistance can reach up to 20 MΩ or more. A 500VDC megger is applied between the windings and the frame after the motor has been operated at its rated conditions.
Insulation Voltage
Under normal ambient temperature and humidity, the motor can withstand 1.5kV (or 2kV for three-phase 400V) at 50/60Hz between the windings and the frame for 1 minute after rated motor operation.
Temperature Rise
The temperature rise should be lower than 80°C, measured by the resistance method, when the motor is operating.
